Now that we have all that left over energy and momentum from the recent campaign and Saturday’s One Anchorage Town Hall Meeting – and with Pride Fest just around the corner – I want to encourage you to get involved in Alaska Pride.
How do you get involved? What a great question!
Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Pride.
You can do almost whatever your little gay, queer, lesbian, transgender, straight, or bisexual heart desires: march in the parade, have a vendor booth on the park strip, host a house party, create an event for Pride week, sponsor Alaska Pride, or perform on the main stage.
Want to volunteer?
You can help with set up, be a parade marshal, staff a table at an event, help with parking, and much more. Email Kris Katkus (email@example.com) or Eric Braman (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get on the volunteer list or for more information about volunteer opportunities.
Is performing your thing?
You can find the Performer Application on our website at www.alaskapride.org. Just click on the forms tab. We extended the deadline to April 25 so you still have plenty of time to get creative, get motivated, and get involved on stage!
Something else tickle your fancy?
Email me (email@example.com) or Felix (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
